Nizoral Shampoo is useful in the treatment and prevention dandruff of the scalp.

For the 1st 2-4 weeks: use the shampoo 3-4 times weekly to clear the dandruff. Once the dandruff is removed the shampoo can be used twice weekly thereafter in between ordinary shampoo for maintenance.
The active ingredient is ketoconazole (2% w/w).
