How do Arnica Tablets work?

Arnica tablets are formulated using an alternative medicine created in 1796 by Samuel Hahnemann. He claimed that something taken orally which caused effects similar to what you were hoping to cure could be used in a diluted form to achieve this purpose – ‘Like cures like’. He also maintained that by diluting the ingredient and shaking each time between dilution created an energy which helped the curative effect of the medicine. Arnica tablets contain arnica montana, which is a moderately toxic European flowering plant in the daisy family. When this is put in liquid and diluted six fold and shaken between each of these dilutions arnica tablets 6c can be created.

Why can’t you touch Arnica Tablets?

It is recommended not to touch any arnica tablets with your fingers as it is thought that this will introduce moisture onto the tablets and start a degradation process – thus limiting their effect. It is best to use the Clickpak cap on the Nelson’s tablet vial. Clicking the top of the vial whilst holding it in you hand places two pillulles into the cap enabling you to place the pillules straight into your mouth from the cap itself without touching it with your fingers.
