Dosage and Instructions for Usage
The tablet is to be swallowed whole with water. It can be taken with or without food. It can be divided into two equally spaced doses throughout the day if it seen to be more effective.
- Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over: The recommended dose is one tablet once a day.
- Children aged between 6-12 years: The usual dose is half a tablet twice a day (morning and evening).
These tablets are not intended for children under the age of 6 years.
Patients with kidney problems: if you have moderate kidney problems your doctor may reduce your dose to half a tablet once a day. If you have severe kidney problems your doctor may reduce your dose to half a tablet every 2 days.
Duration of treatment: The duration of the treatment may vary depending on the symptoms.
Ingredients
The active substance is cetirizine dihydrochloride.
Each film-coated tablet contains 10 mg cetirizine
dihydrochloride.
- The other ingredients are: lactose monohydrate,microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E171) and macrogol 4000.
